Winter Triples 24-25

Every winter between November and the end of March, the club organises an internal Winter Triples League, which has been coined ‘The Hyland Games’ in recognition of Mike Hyland whose idea the league was.

Having an all-weather surface means that league games can continue throughout the winter months.

The league takes the form of up to 14 teams who play each other once over the winter season. Due to interest from members, each team consists of a squad of players who rotate throughout the season giving all members equal participation. Games are played as triples over 14 ends, with points being awarded for a win and a draw.
